Digital Marketing Implementation in Property Sales: Improving Promotion, Data Management, and Customer Engagement

Nitya Amelia, Bayu Hari Prasojo

Abstract

The development of digital technology has significantly transformed business sales activities, including the property sector. However, PT. Dewe Makmur Mapan previously faced several challenges, such as limited digital marketing strategies, unstructured management of prospective customer data, and slow responses to customer inquiries. These challenges reflect a gap between the growing need for digital based sales management and the readiness of medium scale property businesses to adopt integrated digital practices. Therefore, this community service activity aimed to implement digitalization in the sales process to improve marketing effectiveness, customer data management, and customer service performance. The activity applied the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method by identifying the company’s existing digital resources and optimizing their utilization to support marketing activities and customer interaction. The novelty of this activity is reflected in the integration of digital promotional content development, structured prospective customer data management, and direct communication with potential buyers through digital platforms within a practical mentoring process. The activities included organizational reviews, social media marketing management, digital promotional content creation, compilation of prospective customer databases, and assistance in communicating with consumers through digital platforms. The implementation results showed positive impacts, including improved promotional strategies, more organized customer data management, faster responses to prospective buyers, and stronger coordination among sales teams in decision making processes. This activity demonstrates that practical digitalization support through mentoring can strengthen digital capability, operational effectiveness, and sustainable sales practices in medium scale property businesses while contributing to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8 through improved productivity and SDG 9 through digital innovation and technology adoption.
