Abstract

 

This study aims to examine the application of operations management in inventory management at Toko Bangunan Bromo Mas Malang and to identify the factors influencing its effectiveness in supporting increased business revenue. The study employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with the owner, warehouse manager, cashier/administrator, and staff, as well as through documentation as supporting data. Data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was verified using source and technique triangulation. The results indicate that inventory management has been implemented systematically through electronic recording using the Ketoko.com application, supplemented by manual records. The effectiveness of inventory management is influenced by the accuracy of inventory requirement planning, promotional strategies, capital availability, supplier delivery quality and timeliness, and customer satisfaction levels. Optimization is achieved through the implementation of demand-driven inventory practices, control of inventory quality and quantity, competitive pricing, and periodic stock evaluations. Effective inventory management enhances operational efficiency, minimizes the risks of stockouts and overstocking, accelerates inventory turnover, and contributes positively to revenue growth and the business sustainability of Toko Bangunan Bromo Mas.
