Analisis Keuangan Menggunakan Metode Camel Rating System Pada Bank Syariah (Studi Pada PT. Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tahun 2016-2018)

Abstract

Banking is one of the sectors that is quite large in development in Indonesia. Basically, banking is the core of every country's financial system because the banking sector is one of the bases for maintaining the development of the national economy. Regarding the existence of banking institutions in Indonesia itself, there are two types of banking in Indonesia, namely conventional banking and sharia banking.

The assessment of the financial soundness level aims to determine whether the bank is in a healthy condition, healthy enough, unhealthy or unhealthy so that Bank Indonesia as the supervisor and supervisor of the banks can provide direction or instructions on how the bank should be run or even stop operating activities.

PT. Bank Muamalat, Tbk. is the first Islamic bank in Indonesia which was established on November 1, 1991 and was initiated by the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) and supported by the Government of Indonesia. Due to the instability and fluctuation of related financial ratiostotal assets and profitability, it is necessary to analyze the health of the bank

This research is research ex post facto, namely research conducted for examine the events that occurred and the possibility of tracing back to find out the factors that cause these symptoms. Based on the type of research is a quantitative descriptive research.

The results showed that the analysis of capital factors in terms of the CAR ratio showed that PT. Bank Muamalat Tbk for the 2016-2018 period shows a healthy bank capital condition, the analysis of asset quality factors in terms of the NPF Ratio shows that PT. Bank Muamalat Tbk for the 2016-2018 period shows a fairly healthy bank financing condition, Management factor analysis as measured by the NIM ratio which shows that the ratio indicates healthy management, Profitability factor analysis (earnings) as measured by the BOPO ratio which shows that the ratio indicates profitability healthy, and analysis of liquidity as measured by the LDR ratio which shows that the ratio indicates a healthy ratio
