Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of financial inclusion, entrepreneurial skills, and the role of microfinance institutions on the performance of UMKM in Sumenep City, Madura. Determination of the sample in this study using purposive sampling technique, so that the number of samples can be determined as many as 80 respondents who meet the criteria. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that financial inclusion, entrepreneurial skills, and the role of microfinance institutions simultaneously had a significant effect on the performance of UMKM in Sumenep City, Madura. Financial inclusion variables have a significant and positive effect on the performance of UMKM in Sumenep City, Madura. The variable of entrepreneurial ability has a significant and positive effect on the performance of UMKM in Sumenep City, Madura. The variable of the role of microfinance institutions has a significant and positive effect on the performance of UMKM in Sumenep City, Madura..
