PENGARUH HABITS OF MIND MATEMATIS DAN SELF CONCEPT TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN MATEMATIS PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VIII SMP PLUS HIDAYATUN MUBTADI’IN SINGOSARI

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah; 1) untuk mengetahui pengaruh habits of mind matematis dan self concept secara bersama-sama terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Plus Hidayatul Mubtadi’in Singosari; 2) untuk mengetahui pengaruh habits of mind matematis terhadap kemampuan pemmahaman matematis peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Plus Hidayatul Mubtadi’in Singosari; 3) untuk mengetahui pengaruh self concept terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Plus Hidayatul Mubtadi’in Singosari. Pendekatan dalam penelitian menggunakan pendekatan metode kuantitatif jenis ex post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Plus Hidayatul Mubtadi’in. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu random sampling. Dalam penelitian ini instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengambil data adalah kuisioner dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji regresi linier berganda metode eliminasi dengan bantuan software SPSS 25. Hasil yang didapat penelitian ini yang pertama adalah adanya pengaruh signifikan secara bersama-sama antara habits of mind dan self concept terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Plus Hidayatun Mubtadi’in Singosari dengan besar pengaruhnya 54,9%. Kedua, adanya pengaruh signifikan antara habits of mind terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Plus Hidayatun Mubtadi’in Singosari dengan besar pengaruhnya 53,1%. Ketiga, tidak adanya pengaruh signifikan antara self concept terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Plus Hidayatun Mubtadi’in Singosari dengan melihat dari nilai Sig (p=0,441>0,05).

The purpose of this study were; 1) to determine the effect of mathematical habits of mind and self concept together on the mathematical understanding ability of students in class VIII SMP Plus Hidayatul Mubtadi'in Singosari; 2) to determine the effect of mathematical habits of mind on the mathematical understanding ability of students in class VIII SMP Plus Hidayatul Mubtadi'in Singosari; 3) to determine the effect of self concept on the mathematical understanding ability of students in class VIII SMP Plus Hidayatul Mubtadi'in Singosari. The approach in the study used a quantitative method approach ex post facto type. The population in this study were all students in grade VIII of SMP Plus Hidayatul Mubtadi'in. The sampling technique used in this study was random sampling. In this study the instruments used to collect data were questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique used is the multiple linear regression test elimination method with the help of SPSS 25 software. The results obtained in this study, the first is that there is a significant influence together between habits of mind and self-concept on the mathematical understanding ability of VIII grade students of SMP Plus Hidayatun Mubtadi'in Singosari with a large effect of 54.9%. Second, there is a significant influence between habits of mind on the mathematical understanding ability of VIII grade students of SMP Plus Hidayatun Mubtadi'in Singosari with a large influence of 53.1%. Third, there is no significant influence between self-concept on the mathematical understanding ability of VIII grade students of SMP Plus Hidayatun Mubtadi'in Singosari by looking at the Sig value (p=0.441>0.05).
