PERAN KUA DALAM UPAYA PEMBENTUKAN KELUARGA SAKINAH MELALUI PROGRAM BIMBINGAN PRA NIKAH (Studi KUA Kecamatan Pronojiwo Kabupaten Lumajang)

Abstract

Premarital guidance is very important to carry out, but there are still many prospective brides and grooms in Pronojiwo District who do not follow the guidance. From this background, the focus of the problem studied is related to the steps, roles, efforts and obstacles in providing premarital guidance to prospective brides and grooms at KUA Pronojiwo Lumajang. The method used in this research is qualitative using field research, this research uses primary data in the form of interviews with the head of KUA Pronojiwo, and prospective brides and grooms who have attended premarital guidance in 2023, as well as secondary data in the form of journals and other scientific writings that have a correlation with study. The data in the research are analyzed and then described sequentially according to the problem formulation. The results of this research conclude that prospective brides and grooms must register, the KUA seeks premarital guidance by providing advice regarding marriage when registering their marriage, while the lack of information provided by the KUA and the lack of awareness of prospective brides and grooms in following premarital guidance are obstacles in implementing premarital guidance.
