PERJODOHAN DAN PERNIKAHAN DI USIA MUDA SEBAGAI SALAH SATU STRATEGI KELUARGA ALAWIYYIN DI KOTA MALANG DALAM MENJAGA NASAB DAN MENCIPTAKAN KELUARGA SAKINAH

Abstract

Marriage is a sacred sunnatullah for mankind. The family is the main place of Islamic education for children, so that it can create a family that is calm and in accordance with the teachings of the Islamic religion. The Alawiyyin family is a Hadhramaut Arab community, which still practices arranged marriages and young marriages as a strategy to maintain lineages and create a sakinah family. This research aims to understand how the Alawiyyin family maintains their lineage and creates a sakinah family through arranged marriages and young marriages. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. By using an interview, observation and documentation process. The results of this research show that the Alawiyyin family builds a sakinah family by practicing religious values, choosing the right mate to maintain their lineage, upholding the traditional teachings of their ancestors, and protecting the family from things that are forbidden through arranged marriages and young marriages.
