Abstract


Premarital guidance at KUA Besuki District, Situbondo Regency is a program instructed by the president which is held at the center of the Ministry of Religion where the implementation of KUA Besuki District, Situbondo Regency began to be implemented in 2017 and gets as many as 52 location points every year in Situbondo District. This type of research is descriptive qualitative which describes the subject or object in a study in the form of institutions, people or communities based on an existing fact so that the use of analysis with a case study approach is used in this research. The purpose of this study was to understand a research topic to examine the effectiveness of premarital guidance to minimize the divorce rate in the KUA, Besuki District, Situbondo Regency and be able to find out what happened from an expectation of the reality on the ground". Based on the results of the study, the proposed solution is to provide a direction for life after marriage, namely household and pre- marital guidance, such as the rights and obligations of a husband or wife, mutual respect for partners and a decrease in each other's ego
