UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BAHASA ANAK USIA 3-4 TAHUN MELALUI METODE BERNYANYI DI KB AL IHSAAN LAWANG
Abstract
Education is an important aspect of life, and good education needs to start early. One important part of early childhood education is language development. These skills have a major influence on daily activities and can support academic readiness and independence of children in the future. This study aims to describe the language skills of children aged 3-4 years at KB Al Ihsaan Lawang and the application of the singing method to improve the language skills of these children. This study uses classroom action research (PTK) with the Kemmis and Mc Taggart models, as well as qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of the study showed that the language skills of children aged 3-4 years at KB Al Ihsaan Lawang through singing activities increased and there were changes in the learning process. Based on the overall research results collected from the pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II, there was an average increase of 82.60% and achieved a success indicator of >80% so that the study ended in cycle II. In the pre-cycle activities, only 5 children completed and achieved a success percentage of 21.73% with an average value of 6.21 in the criteria for developing very well (BSB), in cycle I there were 12 children who completed and achieved a success percentage of 56.06% with an average value of 8.95 in the criteria for developing very well (BSB), in cycle II there was a significant increase, namely producing 19 children who completed and a success percentage of 82.60% with an average of 10.99. in the criteria for developing very well (BSB). The conclusion of this study is that the application of the singing method can improve the language skills of children aged 3-4 years at KB Al Ihsaan Lawang. All students experienced significant changes in learning activities.
