PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN BERBAHASA ANAK USIA DINI MELALUI BUKU POP UP DI RA AR ROHMAN KOTA BATU
Abstract
Language is the intelligence to manage words, or the ability to use words effectively, both orally and in writing. Through good language skills, children can express their ideas and feelings more clearly and easily understood by others. This research aims to improve the language skills of children aged 4-5 years through pop-up books. The language skills of children aged 4-5 years at RA Ar Rohman are still relatively poor. Of the 25 students, only 4 children were able to tell stories based on pictures. This research is classroom action research (CAR) using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model. The research subjects were 25 students from the A RA Ar Rohman group in Batu City. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use qualitative and quantitative data. Based on research conducted, pop up books can significantly improve children's language skills. It was proven that in cycle I the percentage of success reached 55% with the number of children completing as many as 14 people, while in cycle II the percentage of success was 81% with the number of children completing as many as 21 and the highest score criteria was 4 developing very well (BSB). In cycle II, the predetermined success indicators were achieved, namely 80% with three indicators, namely mentioning various kinds of pictures they saw, recognizing letters and reading stories based on pictures.
