PENGGUNAAN MEDIA LOOSE PARTS DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PERMULAAN PADA ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN DI RA WISMA ILMU JABUNG KABUPATEN MALANG

Abstract

This article discusses the use of loose parts media in improving early reading skills in children aged 5-6 years at RA Wisma Ilmu. One of the important components of early childhood education is language development. The language skill that needs to be developed in early childhood is the ability to read. Reading is a way to acquire knowledge throughout life, as it allows us to gain insights and information through reading activities.Young children experience rapid development, especially in language and reading skills. In this context, the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach is used with three cycles to evaluate the effectiveness of using this media. The study results showed that the use of loose parts media significantly improved early reading abilities in kindergarten children. This highlights the importance of using appropriate media in early childhood education to enhance children's interest and reading skills.This research emphasizes the need for approaches that are tailored to the characteristics and needs of each child to achieve optimal learning outcomes. Thus, this approach makes a positive contribution to the development of early reading skills in young children. The implications of this research highlight the necessity of creative and child-centered approaches in designing effective early childhood education programs.
