MENINGKATKAN MOTORIK HALUS ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN MELALUI MEDIA LOOSE PARTS PADA ANAK KELOMPOK B DI RA AL QUR’AN SUNAN KALIJAGA NGENEP KARANGPLOSO
Abstract
The first five years are a golden age for the growth and development of every child, particularly their motor skills. Physical motor skills are divided into two types: fine motor skills and gross motor skills. Fine motor skills involve the balance of the child's fine muscles and coordination of the senses, as the child's body at this age is still very flexible and can be well-directed. Loose parts media are materials based on natural elements taken from the surrounding environment and used intentionally to support learning activities.The aim of this research is to describe the planning process of play activities using loose parts to enhance fine motor physical learning in group B children at RA Al-Qur'an Sunan. It also aims to describe the results of improved fine motor physical learning using loose parts in group B children at RA Al-Qur'an Sunan Kalijaga Ngenep Karangploso.This study employed a classroom action research (CAR) method based on Kurt Lewin's model. The research consisted of three cycles, each including the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 14 group B students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed qualitatively in a descriptive manner.The results of the study showed a significant improvement in children's fine motor skills after conducting activities using loose parts media. The satisfactory results were observed in the third cycle, with a success rate of 90.4%, classified as developing very well.
