Abstract


This study aims to examine the factors influencing the performance of sharia-compliant stocks in companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index 70 during 2020-2023. The study focuses on two independent variables: inflation and economic growth. This study employs a quantitative research approach with secondary data to examine the impact of macroeconomic variables on the performance of sharia-compliant stocks in companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) 70. This secondary data comes from Bank Indonesia, the Central Bureau of Statistics, and the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study used descriptive statistical methods, classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation), multiple linear regression analysis, F-test, t-test, and coefficient of determination (R2) analysis.  This study's variables include sharia-compliant stock performance (dependent variable), inflation, and economic growth (independent variables).  Inflation and economic growth both have a positive and considerable impact on the performance of Sharia-compliant stocks in the JII70.  However, both inflation and economic growth have a negative impact on JII70 sharia shares.
