Abstract


ABSTRACT

This study aims to analyze the effect of Growth Opportunity, Profitability and Firm Size on the Capital Structure of Food and Beverage companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange period of 2015 - 2018. The data analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS program. Based on the data obtained, there are 26 companies. Then, it is found 13 companies that meet the criteria as a research sample. The technique used by the researcher to determine this sample is purposive sampling technique. It is the determination of samples with certain criteria. From this study, it is found that the Growth Opportunity variable has a positive effect and not significant on the Capital Structure (DER). The profitability variable (ROA) also has the same effect which is positive effect and not significant on the Capital Structure (DER). The variable Company Size also has a positive effect and not significant on the Capital Structure (DER). For influence simultaneously or together, the result of these three variables show that Growth Opportunity, Profitability (ROA) and Firm Size simultaneously influence the Capital Structure (DER).
