Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of business capital, psychological capital, entrepreneurial characteristics and innovation on business development in the creative economy actors in the fashion sector in Malang Raya. The study was conducted in the city of Malang with a sample of 99 respondents who have businesses in the field of fashion. This type of research is explanatory research. Data analysis using linear regression test. Regression analysis test results obtained that the variable venture capital, psychological capital, entrepreneurial characteristics, and innovation have an influence on business development. Recommendations for fashion sector businesses are the need to always foster an optimistic attitude in running a business. Besides the characteristics of entrepreneurs in the form of motivation to try must always be maintained by following the socialization so that innovation and creativity will grow that never dies for the sake of business development.
