Abstract


In this study, using a quantitative approach explanatory research. Explanatory research method is a research method with the aim to determine the position of the variable under study and the influence of one variable with other variables. This research was conducted on employees of the Kantor Pemerintahan Kota Malang Bagian Umum on Jalan Raya Tugu No. 1, Kiduldalem, Kec. Klojen, Malang City, East Java 65119. The sample used in this study was purposive sampling. The categories of sampling in this study were employees of the Kantor Pemerintahan Kota Malang Bagian Umum. The results of the study stated that recruitment has no positive and significant effect on employee performance, work motivation does not significantly influence employee performance, training affects employee performance.
