Abstract


ABSTRACT

               the purpose of this study is to find out how the influence of inflation, the exchange rate, and also interest rates on the composite stock price index. The variables used in this study are free variables: inflation, exchange rates, and interest rates. and the dependent variable: the composite stock price index. The analysis technique in this study uses descriptive analysis, the classic assumption test and regression analysis. The population in this study are all macroeconomic data of the country, namely inflation data, exchange rates, and BI interest rates as independent variables and IHSG as the dependent variable. The samples taken are monthly data from each variable, namely inflation, exchange rates, and the BI rate. , and the composite stock price index from January 2014 to December 2018. the results of this study indicate that partially inflation and the exchange rate have no significant effect on the CSPI, the BI interest rate has a significant negative effect on the CSPI. and simultaneously all independent variables have a significant effect on the CSPI
