Abstract
This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work conflict and work stress on the performance of Sangiang village government employees in Bima district. This type of research is qualitative using a descriptive approach that uses the researcher as a research instrument, the data used are primary and secondary data obtained from the study site by conducting observations, interviews and documentation. This study took the entire population due to a small population of less than 35 people who were in the Sangiang village office in Bima district. The results of this study indicate that (1) work conflicts negatively affect the performance of Sangiang village government employees in the Bima district. (2) work stress has a negative effect on the performance of Sangiang village government employees in the Bima district impacting on service, village development, community development and human resource empowerment. The most prominent is the development and progress of the village of Sangiang to be slow or experience prolonged stagnation.
