Abstract

ABSTRACT

The GCG application in Indonesia has not been fully applied to the company, because in GCG's general guideline in Indonesia it is a voluntary application and there is no penal sanction if the company does not implement these guidelines. The company's performance is measured using ROE and Tobins' Q, and multiple regression is used to test the hypothesis. Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is a system that regulates and controls a company creating Value Added for all Stake Holders "(Monks, 2003), Corporate Governance is defined by IICG (Indonesian Institude of Corporate Governance) as the process and structure applied in running company, aims to increase the value of shareholders in the long term and still pay attention to the interests of other stakeholders.
