Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of workforce engagement, business capital management, and entrepreneurial spirit on the success of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in Malang City. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. Research data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 100 MSME operators who served as respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to determine the effects of workforce engagement, business capital management, and entrepreneurial spirit on the success of MSME. The results indicate that workforce engagement, business capital management, and entrepreneurial spirit simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the success of MSME in Malang City. Partially, workforce engagement, business capital management, and entrepreneurial spirit each also have a positive and significant effect on the success of MSME. Furthermore, workforce engagement is the variable with the most dominant influence on the success of MSME compared to business capital management and entrepreneurial spirit. The results of this study indicate that improving the quality of the workforce, effective working capital management, and strengthening the entrepreneurial spirit can support increased success among MSMEs in Malang City.
