Abstract

The rapid development of digital financial technology has encouraged the increasing use of e-wallets in Indonesia. However, students' intention to use the DANA e-wallet is still influenced by several factors, including digital financial literacy, ease of technology access, and promotional activities carried out by service providers. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital financial literacy, ease of technology access, and promotion on students' intention to use the DANA e-wallet in Malang City. This study employed a quantitative approach using an explanatory research design. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 119 students who use the DANA e-wallet in Malang City, selected using purposive random sampling. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results indicate that digital financial literacy, ease of technology access, and promotion each have a positive and significant effect on students' intention to use the DANA e-wallet. Simultaneously, these three independent variables also have a significant effect on the intention to use the DANA e-wallet. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.698 indicates that 69.8% of the variation in students' intention to use the DANA e-wallet is explained by these variables, while the remaining 30.2% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. In conclusion, improving digital financial literacy, enhancing ease of technology access, and implementing effective promotional strategies can significantly increase students' intention to use the DANA e-wallet as a digital payment method.
