Pengaruh Work-Life Balance, Burnout Syndrome, Dan Kepuasan Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Dengan Gender Sebagai Variabel Moderasi Pada BSI Kc Situbondo
Abstract
Abstract
This study examines the effects of Work-Life Balance, Burnout Syndrome, and job satisfaction on employee performance, with gender as a moderating variable, among employees of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Situbondo Branch Office. This research was motivated by the high work demands, service targets, and shariah-based responsibilities faced by employees at the branch, which raise the risk of work-life imbalance and burnout while placing job satisfaction as a key factor in sustaining performance. A quantitative explanatory research design was employed. As the branch consisted of only 25 employees, a census method was adopted, which meant the entire population was used as the research sample. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire based on a five-point Likert scale, and the analysis was performed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4 software. According to the results, there is a positive and significant relationship between Work-Life Balance and job satisfaction with employee performance, whereas Burnout Syndrome negatively and significantly affects performance. Gender, however, was not found to significantly moderate the relationship between Work-Life Balance and performance, Burnout Syndrome and performance, or job satisfaction and performance. These findings indicate that improving Work-Life Balance and job satisfaction while managing burnout can enhance employee performance regardless of gender, suggesting that human resource policies at BSI Situbondo Branch Office can be designed equitably for all employees without gender-based differentiation.
