Abstract

Abstract

This investigation seeks to examine the impact of job satisfaction on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), with work motivation acting as the mediating variable for personnel of CV. Semangat Jaya Makmur. The present inquiry adopted a quantitative methodology utilizing an explanatory research framework. The respondent group comprised 53 permanent staff members, who were chosen via the saturated sampling method. Relevant information was gathered using survey questionnaires, then evaluated through Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) operated on SmartPLS 3.0 software. The findings demonstrate that job satisfaction exerts a positive and substantial influence on both Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and work motivation. Work motivation also has a positive and significant effect on OCB and significantly mediates the relationship between job satisfaction and OCB. These findings suggest that higher job satisfaction enhances employees' work motivation, which in turn encourages voluntary behaviors beyond formal job responsibilities to support organizational effectiveness.
