Abstract

Abstract

This study examines the influence of slow living, work life balance, and self development content on TikTok on the work commitment of millennials in Malang City. An explanatory quantitative design was applied to 95 respondents selected through non-probability purposive sampling. Respondents were millennials who lived or worked in Malang City, actively used TikTok, and had viewed the three types of content. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed with IBM SPSS through instrument testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression, the F-test, the t-test, and the coefficient of determination. The results indicate that slow living content has a positive and significant effect on work commitment (B = 0.192; t = 2.656; p = 0.009). Work life balance has no significant effect (B = 0.058; t = 0.581; p = 0.563). Self development has a positive and significant effect (B = 0.170; t = 3.273; p = 0.002). Simultaneously, the three variables significantly affect work commitment (F = 6.898; p < 0.001). The adjusted R-square of 0.158 shows that the model explains 15.8% of work commitment variation, while 84.2% is explained by other factors.
