Abstract

Abstract

The high employee turnover rate among Generation Z presents a strategic challenge for human resource management, especially in the context of increasingly flexible work models. This study aims to analyze the influence of Work-Life Balance, Work Engagement, and Job Satisfaction on Turnover Intention in the era of Hybrid Working among Generation Z in Malang City. The study employs a quantitative method with an explanatory research approach. The study population consists of Generation Z employees working under a hybrid work model in Malang City. The sample comprises 88 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected via a questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The results indicate that all three variables simultaneously have a significant effect on Turnover Intention. Partially, Work-Life Balance and Job Satisfaction have a negative effect on Turnover Intention. Meanwhile, Work Engagement does not have a significant effect on Turnover Intention. These findings indicate that to reduce Turnover Intention rates among Generation Z, it is not sufficient to focus solely on engagement; rather, the focus should be on providing time flexibility for Work-Life Balance as well as enhancing job satisfaction.
