This study aims to determine the effect of individual characteristics, job characteristics and work discipline on job satisfaction for employees of the Batu City Health Office. The location of this research was carried out on employees of the Batu City Health Office. This research is a quantitative research. This study uses a case study method where data is obtained by distributing questionnaires to employees of the Batu City Health Office who were selected by non-probability sampling. Determination of the number of samples using the determination of saturated samples and the results obtained as many as 68 respondents as employees with civil servant status. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression test and determination test. Based on the results of data analysis, the results of the F test indicate that individual characteristics, job characteristics and work discipline simultaneously have a significant and positive effect on job satisfaction and affect job satisfaction for employees of the Batu City Health Office. Furthermore, the t test results show that individual characteristics, job characteristics and work discipline partially have a significant and positive effect on job satisfaction for employees of the Batu City Health Office. The results of the determination test show that the percentage is 70.8%, where job satisfaction can be influenced by individual characteristics, job characteristics and work discipline. It is better if the Health Service agency should pay more attention to the willingness to distribute questionnaires with strict supervision and guidance in the hope that the answers obtained are more accurate.
