Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of non-performing loans (NPL), liquidity, profitability, operational efficiency and sensitivity to the capital adequacy ratio of banking case studies in banks listed on the Indonesian stock exchange in 2017-2019. The population in this study were all banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2017-2019 period with a total of 44 banking companies. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method. The data sample obtained were 28 banking companies. This research data collection method using the data documentation method listed in the annual report on IDX. The data analysis technique in this study used panel data regression. The results showed that partially non performing loans (NPL) and liquidity had a negative and insignificant effect on the capital adequacy ratio. Profitability has a positive and insignificant effect on the capital adequacy ratio. Operational efficiency has a negative and significant effect on the capital adequacy ratio and sensitivity has a positive and significant effect on the capital adequacy ratio.
