Abstract

Using a quantitative associative approach, this study examines how financial literacy, perceived ease of use, trust, and security influence QRIS adoption among students at Universitas Islam Malang. Respondents were chosen through purposive sampling, limited to active students with prior experience using QRIS for payment purposes. Questionnaire responses were processed through multiple linear regression analysis. The findings reveal that financial literacy, perceived ease of use, trust, and security each significantly encourage students to adopt QRIS. Students are more likely to choose QRIS when they possess adequate financial knowledge, consider the system simple to operate, trust its reliability, and feel protected during transactions. Accordingly, payment service providers should expand financial education initiatives, simplify QRIS features and procedures, improve transaction protection, and strengthen system credibility to increase QRIS adoption among university students.

Keywords: Financial literacy, perceived ease of use, trust, security, usage decision, quick response code indonesian standard (qris).
