Analisis Komparasi Kinerja Keuangan Sektor Farmasi dan Otomotif Sebelum dan Selama Pandemi Covid-19 (Studi Kasus pada yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2018- 2022)
Abstract
This study analyzes the financial performance of the pharmaceutical and automotive sectors before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Using a purposive sampling method, data were collected from companies in these sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018–2022 period. Financial performance indicators, including Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Return on Investment (ROI), were examined to identify differences and impacts between the two periods. The findings reveal no significant differences in ROA, ROE, and ROI for both sectors across the pandemic timeline, though their financial performance was influenced by these metrics. The pharmaceutical sector demonstrated resilience, driven by increased demand for medical products, whereas the automotive sector faced challenges due to reduced consumer purchasing power and disruptions in supply chains. These results offer insights into sectoral financial adaptability during economic crises.
