Abstract


ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of price level overpriced, stock
return, Earning Per Share and stock liquidity to stock split decision. The
population in this study is a manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock
Exchange period 2012-2016. Sampling technique in this research use purposive
sampling and obtained 54 sample company that used as criterion of
manufacturing company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2012-2016.
Source of data from this research comes from the official website (www.idx.co.id)
and (www.sahamok.com). The method of analysis used in this research is logistic
regression. The results of this study indicate that the price overpriced rate
proclaimed using Price Earning Ratio does not affect the stock split decision. The
stock return has a significant positive effect on stock split decision. Earning Per
Share have a significant positive effect on stock split decision. Stock trading
liquidity has a significant negative effect on the stock split decision.
