KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF DAN KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR MELALUI MODEL BBL DENGAN STRATEGI PQ4R MATERI BILANGAN BULAT DAN PECAHAN SISWA KELAS VII

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui serta mendeskripsikan apakah terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kemandirian belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol materi bilangan bulat dan pecahan kelas VII SMPN 2 Krembung. Dan untuk mendiskripsikan keterkaitan hasil analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah mix method dengan sequential explanatory design. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis true experiment yang menggabungkan metode penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif secara berurutan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posstest control group design. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling, diperoleh kelas eksperimen dengan menerapkan model BBL dengan strategi PQ4R dan kelas kontrol dengan model konvensional dengan strategi ekspositori. Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui soal tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan angket kemandirian belajar siswa. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji-t. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari wawancara, obervasi, dan catatan lapangan. Teknik pemilihan subjek wawancara dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Melalui uji t, data posttest kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kemandirian belajar siswa masing-masing diperoleh nilai Sig (2-tiled) = 0.005 < 0.05 dan 0.009 < 0.05, sehingga H0 Â ditolak. Hal ini berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kemandirian belajar siswa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil data kuantitatif ini didukung oleh hasil data wawancara yang menunjukkan bahwa pencapaian indikator kelompok eksperimen lebih menguasai daripada kelompok kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif dapat disimpulkan bahwa data kualitatif mendukung, melengkapi, dan memperkuat dari hasil analisis data kuantitatif.

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine and describe whether there are differences in the ability to think creatively and the of the experimental class students and the control class for the subject of integer and fraction at class VII of SMPN 2 Krembung. And to describe the relation between the results of quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The research method used is a mix method with sequential explanatory design. This study independent learning uses a true type of experiment that combines quantitative and qualitative research methods in sequence. The research design used was a pretest-posstest control group design. Sampling used in this study was cluster random sampling techniques, obtained on experimental class by applying the BBL model with the PQ4R strategy and the control class with a conventional model with an expository strategy. Quantitative data were obtained through tests of creative thinking skills and student independent learning questionnaire. Data analysis uses normality test and t-test. Qualitative data were obtained from interviews, observations, and field notes. The interview subject selection technique is done by using purposive sampling technique. Through the t test, the posttest data of creative thinking ability and students' independent learning obtained Sig (2-tiled) = 0.005 <0.05 and 0.009 <0.05, so H0 Â was rejected. This means that there is a significant difference between the ability to think creatively and student learning independence between the experimental class and the control class. So that the results of qualitative research can support, complement, and strengthen from quantitative data.
