PENERAPAN MODUL AJAR BIPA TINGKAT AWAL (BIPA 1) DENGAN INTEGRASI KOSAKATA “BENDA DI SEKITAR” DI ANUBAN MUSLIM KRABI SCHOOL THAILAND
Abstract
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan modul ajar
BIPA tingkat awal (BIPA 1) dengan integrasi kosakata bertema “Benda di Sekitar” di Anuban Muslim School Thailand. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya penguasaan kosakata dasar bagi pemelajar BIPA tingkat pemula serta perlunya bahan ajar yang kontekstual dan sesuai dengan lingkungan belajar siswa.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa BIPA tingkat awal dan pengajar BIPA di Anuban Muslim School Thailand. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan modul ajar dengan integrasi kosakata “Benda di Sekitar” dilaksanakan secara sistematis melalui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pembelajaran memanfaatkan benda di sekitar sebagai sumber belajar, didukung penggunaan media visual serta aktivitas interaktif berbasis pendekatan komunikatif. Respons peserta didik dan pengajar tergolong positif karena materi disajikan secara kontekstual dan sesuai dengan tingkat kemampuan pemula. Kendala yang dihadapi meliputi perbedaan latar belakang bahasa, variasi kemampuan pelafalan, serta keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran. Meskipun demikian, modul ajar dinilai efektif dalam mendukung penguasaan kosakata dasar dan keterampilan komunikasi sederhana pada BIPA tingkat awal.
