PENGARUH MOTIVASI BELAJAR DAN KEPERCAYAAN DIRI TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MATEMATIS MELALUI SELF EFFICACY PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VII SMP ISLAM MA’ARIF 02 KOTA MALANG TAHUN AJARAN 2023/2024

Abstract


Abstrak: Penelitian ini didasarkan pada peserta didik selalu menganggap bahwa matematika adalah pelajaran yang sulit dimengerti, sehingga menyebabkan peserta didik malas dan tidak memiliki semangat dalam belajar matematika dan berpikir untuk menyelesaikan soal-soal matematika. Hal ini mengakibatkan peserta didik mengerjakan soal-soal dengan sesuka hatinya serta tidak berpikir dalam pengerjaan soal matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar dan kepercayaan diri terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis melalui self efficacy peserta didik kelas VII SMP Islam Ma’arif 02 Kota Malang tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode observasionl/expost facto penelitian ini melibatkan 73 siswa kelas VII SMP Islam Ma’arif 02 Kota Malang, yang terdiri dari kelas VII-A, VII-B, VII-D. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan soal tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Pengaruh langsung motivasi belajar terhadap self efficacy sebesar 0,458. (2) Pengaruh langsung kepercayaan diri terhadap self efficacy sebesar 0,446. (3) Pengaruh langsung motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis sebesar 0,319. (4) Pengaruh langsung kepercayaan diri terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis sebesar 0,379. (5) Pengaruh langsung self efficacy terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis sebesar 0,293.
