PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN EVERYONE IS A TEACHER HERE (ETH) BERBANTAUN SPINNER UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS PADA MATERI SAJIAN DAN TAFSIRAN DATA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VII MTS ALMAARIF 01 SINGOSARI

Abstract


Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran everyone is a teacher here berbantuan spinner untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis pada materi sajian dan tafsiran data peserta didik kelas VII MTs Almaarif 01 Singosari, 2) Mendeskripsikan hasil peningkatan komunikasi matematis melalui model pembelajaran everyone is a teacher here berbantuan spinner pada  materi sajian dan tafsiran data peserta didik kelas VII MTs Almaarif 01 Singosari. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif, dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian dalam peneltian ini adalah 30 peserta didik kelas VII-A MTs Almaarif Singosari. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui hasil observasi kegiatan guru dan peserta didik, hasil tes akhir siklus, hasil wawancara, dan hasil catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) penerapan model pembelajaran everyone is a teacher here berbantuan spinner meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dengan tahap pelaksanaan sebagai berikut: a) kegiatan awal; b) kegiatan inti, kegiatan diawali dengan guru memberikan materi, kemudian membagikan kartu kepada peserta didik, peserta didik membuat soal pada lembar kartu yang dibagi oleh guru, peserta didik dipanggil menggunakan spinner untuk mempresentasikan hasil, peserta didik lain menanggapi hasil presentasi; c) kegiatan penutup. (2) Deskripsi hasil peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis melalui analisis data terlihat pada siklus I ke siklus II dimana hasil observasi kegiatan akivitas guru pada siklus I mencapai 71,75% dan pada siklus II mencapai 82,48%. Hasil observasi kegiatan peserta didik pada siklus I mencapai 73,175% dan pada siklus II mencapai 83,55%. Hasil tes akhir siklus  I mencapai 63,3% dan pada siklus II mencapai 83,3%. Hasil wawancara pada siklus I terkait proses pembelajaran everyone is a teacher here berbantuan spinner mencapai 50% dan pada siklus II mencapai 83,3% peserta didik merespon positif terhadap pembelajaran everyone is a teacher here berbantuan spinner.
