MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE INDEX CARD MATCH UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATERI TRIGONOMETRI KELAS X E SMA NEGERI 1 ARJASA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Index Card Match untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian tindakan kelas dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari tes, angket, observasi, wawancara, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh: (1) hasil angket motivasi peserta didik siklus I mencapai 64,87% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 81,17%; (2) hasil tes akhir siklus I mencapai 71,88% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 87,5%; (3) hasil observasi aktivitas guru pada siklus I mencapai 78,95% dan meningkat pada siklus II mencapai 94,3%; (4) hasil observasi aktivitas peserta didik siklus I mencapai 77,75% dan meningkat pada siklus II mencapai 90,25% dengan kategori sangat baik; (5) hasil wawancara siklus I menyatakan bahwa 66,7% peserta didik menyatakan senang dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Index Card Match dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 83,3%; dan (6) hasil catatan lapangan pada siklus II sudah lebih baik dari siklus sebelumnya dengan lingkungan kelas yang kondusif, peserta didik semangat dan aktif selama pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Index Card Match dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada materi Trigonometri kelas X E SMA Negeri 1 Arjasa.
                          Abstract
This research aims to describe the application of the cooperative learning modeltype Index Card Match to increase students' motivation and problem solving abilities. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of classroom action research. Classroom action research was carried out in 2 cycles. Data collection techniques consist of tests, questionnaires, observations, interviews and field notes. The research results obtained: (1) the results of the student motivation questionnaire in cycle I reached 64.87% and increased in cycle II to 81.17%; (2) the final test results in cycle I reached 71.88% and increased in cycle II to 87.5%; (3) the results of observing teacher activities in cycle I reached 78.95% and increased in cycle II reaching 94.3%; (4) the results of observation of student activities in cycle I reached 77.75% and increased in cycle II reaching 90.25% in the very good category; (5) the results of the first cycle of interviews stated that 66.7% of students stated that they were happy with the cooperative learning model Index Card Match and in cycle II it increased to 83.3%; and (6) the results of field notes in cycle II were better than the previous cycle with a conducive classroom environment, students were enthusiastic and active during learning. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the application of the type cooperative learning model Index Card Match can increase students' motivation and problem solving abilities in class X E Trigonometry material at SMA Negeri 1 Arjasa.
