PENGARUH SELF EFFICACY DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR MATEMATIS TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VII MTS NURUL IZZAH

Abstract


Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui pengaruh self efficacy dan motivasi belajar matematis secara bersama-sama terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik; (2) mengetahui pengaruh self efficacy terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis; (3) mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar matematis terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Penelitian ini menggunakan motode kuantitatif jenis ex post facto. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VII MTs Nurul Izzah dengan sampel sebanyak 68 peserta didik menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Kuesioner yang digunakan terdiri dari kuesioner self efficacy  dan motivasi belajar matematis, dan instrumen tes terdiri dari dua soal tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS 25. Hasil analisis menunnjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh signifikan secara bersama-sama antara self efficacy dan motivasi belajar matematis terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik sebesar 62,8 %. Secara parsial self efficacy berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik yaitu sebesar 45,5%. Motivasi belajar matematis juga berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yaitu sebesar 53,7%.
