PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DENGAN METODE WINDOWS SHOPPING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS DAN KEPERCAYAAN DIRI PADA MATERI JUMLAH DAN SELISIH SUDUT TRIGONOMETRI KELAS XI MAN KOTA BATU

Abstract


Abstrak:Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan aspek penting dimana peserta didik memiliki kemampuan untuk dapat menggali, mengkaji, menyimpulkan, dan konseptualisasi informasi. Kepercayaan diri sangat dibutuhkan dalam proses pembelajaran dikarenakan peserta didik tidak akan mudah menyerah dan meyakini atas kemampuan yang dimilikinya. Salah satu materi yang digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kepercayaan diri peserta didik adalah jumlah dan selisih sudut trigonometri. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan metode Windows Shopping terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kepercayaan diri kelas XI MAN Kota Batu pada materi jumlah dan selisih sudut trigonometri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan true experimental design dan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest group design. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI MAN Kota Batu. Pemilihan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik convenience sampling, diperoleh kelas XI IMIPA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI MIPA 4 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan masing-masing kelas berjumlah 32 peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan metode Windows Shopping terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis kelas XI MAN KOTA BATU pada materi jumlah dan selisih sudut trigonometri. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari nilai rata-rata pretest postest kemampuan berpikir kritis yaitu 50,00 dan 82,03 dengan nilai sig 0,000<0,05. Kepercayaan diri ditunjukkan dari nilai rata-rata pretest postest yaitu 26,81 dan 29,12 dengan nilai sig 0,002<0,05. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan Metode Windows Shopping terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kepercayaan diri peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Problem Based Learning, Windows Shopping, kemampuan berpikir kritis, percaya diri
