Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the strategies carried out by the community to create a sakinah mawaddah wa rahmah family in the face of rising prices of basic commodities. and to describe the inhibiting factors and supporting factors for creating a sakinah mawaddah wa rahmah family in the face of rising prices of basic commodities, This study uses a type of qualitative research sourced from the head of the village and the community of ciptomulyo sub-district. The results showed several community strategies in creating a sakinah mawaddah wa rahmah family in facing rising prices of basic commodities through social assistance from the government, family financial management, strategies for building MSMEs, utilizing their own resources. Factors that hinder the community in creating a sakinah mawaddah warahmah family in facing rising prices of basic commodities include inflation, dependence on imports, inefficient distribution and logistics, global crisis, and supporting factors for the community in creating a sakinah mawaddah warahmah family in facing rising prices of basic commodities including mapping needs, food procurement and distribution, food security programs, increasing local products, and diversifying food
