PENAFSIRAN SURAT AL-BAQARAH AYAT 221 DAN AL-MAIDAH AYAT 5 TENTANG PERNIKAHAN BEDA AGAMA PERSPEKTIF EMPAT MADZHAB

Abstract


 The Qur'an has arranged in such a way about social law. In particular, it regulates the issue of interfaith marriage. Q.S. Al-Baqarah verse 221 explains that it is unlawful to marry a polytheist. However, in Q.S. Al-Maidah verse 5 explains, especially for the people of the book, it is permissible for marriage to be married. On the other hand, the people of the book are non-Muslims. This research is a qualitative research with the type of library research. The books/books used as references in this study are the books of Al-Qur'an exegesis which explain the Q.S. Al-Baqarah verse 221 and Q.S. Al-Maidah verse 5. While the book of interpretation used is taken from the writings of the scholars of the four Madzhabs consisting of Imam Hanafi, Imam Maliki, Imam Shafi'i and Imam Hambali. The results of this study are legal provisions for interfaith marriage from the point of view of each of the four schools of madzhabs.
