PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA BUSY BOOK KOGNITIF UNTUK ANAK USIA DINI DI RA MIFTAHUL HUDA KEPANJEN
Abstract
Early childhood development requires appropriate stimulation through engaging and developmentally appropriate learning media. This study aims to develop the cognitive Busy Book media as an interactive learning alternative for children aged 4–6 years at RA Miftahul Huda Kepanjen. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The initial stage was carried out through observation and interviews to identify learning needs and problems. The developed media was then validated by material and media experts. The trials were conducted in stages, namely a small-scale trial with 10 children and a large-scale trial with 39 children. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that the media obtained a score of 80% from media experts, 86% from material experts, 85.2% from small trials, 87.5% from large trials, and a teacher response of 92%. These results indicate that the cognitive Busy Book media is very suitable for use in learning. This product can be a reference in developing innovative learning media that is appropriate to the needs and developmental stages of early childhood.
