IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN MENYENANGKAN (JOYFULL LEARNING) DALAM PERKEMBANGAN SOSIAL EMOSIONAL ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN DI TA AL KAUTSAR KECAMATAN LOWOKWARU KOTA MALANG
Abstract
The early years of a child's life provide a crucial opportunity for educational stimulation that can foster holistic development. To achieve this, a learning environment must be created that is engaging and encourages active participation through interactive media, play-based methods, and active learning processes. A qualitative case study was conducted at Al Kautsar TA in Malang City, using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation to collect data. The study found that planning for joyful learning should align with the syllabus and indicators for children's social-emotional development to meet their unique needs and characteristics. The implementation of joyful learning for 5-6-year-old children at TA Al was carried out through a learning center model that employed singing, storytelling and plays. Children were given the freedom to choose their preferred activities. The results of the evaluation showed that teachers could assess children's social-emotional development by observing their enthusiasm during learning activities. Teachers provided therapy to children who required further support to increase their motivation to learn.
