ANALYSIS OF THE CAUSES OF ROAD DAMAGE AND THE IMPACT ON ROAD STABILITY ON THE SOEKARNO-HATTA - BASUKI RAHMAD ROAD IN JOMBANG DISTRICT

Abstract


ABSTRACK

Road Soekarno-Hatta – Basuki Rahmad, Jombang Regency is one of the main routes that has a strategic role in supporting community mobility and economic activities in the area. The road conditions on the road are damaged in the form of cracks, uneven patches, and holes that can affect the comfort and safety of road users. The purpose of this study is to see the proper handling and maintenance of roads based on actual conditions. The results of the study of the value of the damage condition of the Soekarno-Hatta – Basuki Rahmad road, Jombang Regency, using the Bina Marga method, the Priority Order value of 5 is classified as requiring a routine maintenance program, the PCI method, the average value obtained is 65, where the value is classified into the good category and the type of routine and periodic maintenance, the SDI method gets an average value of 15 which means good and the largest value in one segment is 60 with moderate conditions, the type of handling carried out is routine and periodic maintenance. For the value of road stability on the Soekarno-Hatta – Basuki Rahmad road, it is a Mantap road that can be used as a database for routine and periodic maintenance.
