Abstract

ABSTRACT

Tidal floods occur due to high tides inundating areas at altitudes lower than sea level. A floodgate is a supporting structure for a weir in controlling floods. Kalibuntu Village for approximately 17 years. Simulate the height of the door opening and determine the area of flood inundation with HEC-RAS 2D software using a return period of 25 and 50 years. The research results show that the design discharge using the Nakayasu Hydrograph method to maintain the water level remains at normal conditions at a 50 year return period of Q= 44.8446 m³/sec. The simulation results of the door opening height at a 25 year return period are as high as 0.03 m and at a 50 year return period as high as 2.5 m. Results of the area of distribution of flood inundation using HEC-RAS software with a return period of 25 years = 0.813 km² and a return period of 50 years = 0.865 km²
