PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN MINYAK LEMURU DAN DAUN PANDAN DALAM PAKAN TERHADAP PERFORMA PRODUKSI AYAM PETELUR
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan limbah ikan sarden dan daun pandan dalam pakan ayam petelur terhadap performa produksi ayam petelur. Rancangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial (RALF) dengan 2 faktor 9 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan setiap ulangan terdiri dari 1 ekor ternak percobaan. Data performa produksi diperoleh melalui penimbangan telur harian dari analisis menggunakan ANOVA. Perlakuan pada penelitian ini yaitu faktor dosis minyak lemuru dan faktor dosis daun pandan. Faktor dosis minyak lemuru terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu 0% minyak lemuru (L0), 1:1% minyak lemuru (L1) dan 3% minyak lemuru (L2) sedangkan faktor dosis daun pandan terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu 0% daun pandan (P0), 2% daun pandan (P1) dan 4% daun pandan (P2). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada penambahan minyak lemuru dan daun pandan terhadap konsumsi, henday, bobot telur, produksi massa dan FCR berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01). Tidak ada interaksi antara minyak lemuru dan daun pandan terhadap performa produksi ayam petelur (P>0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian penambahan minyak lemuru dan daun pandan memberikan pengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap parameter performa produksi ayam petelur. Parameter yang mengalami peningkatan meliputi konsumsi pakan, henday production, bobot telur, produksi massa telur, serta efisiensi konversi pakan (Feed Conversion Ratio/FCR) terhadap kombinasi perlakuan (L2P2). Analisis statistik tidak mengidentifikasi adanya interaksi antara kedua bahan tersebut dalam memengaruhi performa produksi, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa minyak lemuru dan daun pandan berkontribusi secara independent dalam mendukung peningkatan produktivitas ayam petelur selama periode pemeliharaan.

THE EFFECT OF ADDING LEMURU OIL AND PANDAN LEAVES IN FEED ON THE PRODUCTION PERFORMANCE OF LAYING HENS
Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the use of sardine and pandan leaf waste in laying hen feed on the production performance of laying hens. The design used in this study is a Factorial Complete Random Design (RALF) with 2 factors, 9 treatments and 3 replicas, each replica consisting of 1 experimental livestock. Production performance data was obtained through daily egg weighing from analysis using ANOVA. The treatment in this study was the dose factor of lemuru oil and the dosage factor of pandan leaves. The dosage factor of lemuru oil consists of 3 levels, namely 0% lemuru oil (L0), 1:1% lemuru oil (L1) and 3% lemuru oil (L2) while the dose factor of pandan leaves consists of 3 levels, namely 0% pandan leaves (P0), 2% pandan leaves (P1) and 4% pandan leaves (P2). The results showed that the addition of lemuru oil and pandan leaves to consumption, henday, egg weight, mass production and FCR had a very significant (P<0.01). There was no interaction between lemuru oil and pandan leaves on the production performance of laying hens (P>0.05). The conclusion of the study was that the addition of lemuru oil and pandan leaves had a very significant (P<0.01) on the performance parameters of laying hens. Parameters that have increased include feed consumption, henday production, egg weight, egg mass production, and feed conversion efficiency (Feed Conversion Ratio/FCR) to treatment combinations (L2P2). Statistical analysis did not identify any interaction between the two ingredients in influencing production performance, so it can be concluded that lemuru oil and pandan leaves contribute independently in supporting the increase in the productivity of laying hens during the rearing period.
