PERAN KEPRIBADIAN GURU AGAMA DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SANTRI DI TPQ AL-HIDAYAH PURWODADI TIRTOYUDO MALANG.

Abstract

Motivation of students is very important for the success of teaching and learning activities, whether successful or not, depends on the motivation provided by the teacher or someone around him. Thus this study aims to find out how the role of the teacher's personality in increasing students' learning motivation in TPQ Al-Hidayah Purwodadi Tirtoyudo Malang. To achieve this goal an educator not only conveys material but must also educate and guide and deliver results that students must obtain, using qualitative methods, where documents are obtained from interviews, observations and documentation. From the results of research conducted show, (1) Educators already have a disciplined personality and are responsible for carrying out tasks and activities, educators already have a personality that is polite and polite to each student, and educators already have a religious personality in carrying out their duties the tasks in guiding TPQ children. (2) Factors that inhibit the role of the teacher's personality such as, the personality of the outside environment and playmates from outside the TPQ, which are brought by students into learning will become an obstacle to educators, the background of students and relationships in the family are less harmonious, and educational background in the family.
