IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM MERDEKA BERBASIS DEEP LEARNING PADA PEMBELAJARAN PAI DI SMP AL ANWAR BULULAWANG KABUPATEN MALANG

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Deep Learning-based Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka) in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at Al Anwar Junior High School Bululawang, Malang Regency. The research method employed was a qualitative case study approach. Based on the research conducted through observation, interview, and documentation techniques, it was concluded that the planning of the Deep Learning-based Independent Curriculum was carried out systematically through the analysis of learning achievements (CP), the formulation of learning objectives flows (ATP), and the development of teaching modules integrated with daily life. The implementation was carried out using various learning methods, such as group discussions, case studies, interactive question-and-answer sessions, presentations, and simple projects. The learning process began with triggering questions, followed by discussion and presentation activities, and concluded with learning reflections. Evaluation was conducted comprehensively through diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments utilizing test instruments, assignments, and attitude observations. This evaluation had a positive impact on students' religious understanding, worship discipline, responsibility, and politeness. Although there were constraints in the objectivity of attitude assessment and deep understanding, the solutions were implemented through periodic observation records, collaborative reflections, and improved assessment time management.
