PENGARUH METODE PEMBELAJARAN EKSPOSITORI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

Abstract

This research is motivated by teachers who still use conventional teaching methods, namely lectures, so the learning process is considered less effective and students are less actively involved in learning. This situation affects students' learning outcomes, which are not optimal. In this study, the researcher examines how the Expository teaching method affects the SKI learning outcomes of seventh-grade students at MTs Hasyimiyah Bungah Gresik. The main goal of this study is to find out the impact of the Expository teaching method on the SKI learning outcomes of seventh-grade students at MTs Hasyimiyah Bungah Gresik.The method used in this study is quantitative research with a type of quasi-experimental research. In this study, the research subjects were 7th-grade students in SKI at MTs Hasyimiyah Bungah Gresik. Class IV A was the control class with the learning process using the lecture method, and Class IV B was the experimental class with the learning process using the Expository learning method. As for the data collection techniques, the study used tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The instrument used was a learning outcomes test consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions. The results of this study prove that the Expository learning method has an effect on the learning outcomes of 7th-grade students in SKI at MTs Hasyimiyah Bungah Gresik. This is shown by the hypothesis testing results using the t-test at a significance level of 0.05, which obtained t count > t table, namely 0.460 > 0.05, so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted.
