ANALISIS METODE KLASIKAL PADA PENGAJARAN TAHFIDZ AL-QUR'AN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS HAFALAN SANTRI DI PONDOK PESANTREN ILMU AL-QUR'AN SINGOSARI MALANG

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of the classical method in tahfidz Al-Qur'an instruction to improve students' memorization quality at Pondok Pesantren Ilmu Al-Qur'an Singosari Malang. This study used a qualitative descriptive case-study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews with tahfidz teachers and students, and documentation. Data analysis followed the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the classical method was applied through collective learning in one forum, structured murajaah, individual memorization deposits, teacher supervision, and daily evaluation. The method improved students' discipline, learning order, responsibility, and memorization control. The improvement appeared in fluency, tajwid accuracy, memorization stability, and consistency of murajaah. Supporting factors included fixed schedules, teacher guidance, class grouping, daily targets, additional murajaah, and peer learning. Inhibiting factors included limited time, fatigue, different memorization abilities, boredom, and weak independent murajaah. The study concludes that the classical method is effective when collective learning is combined with individual evaluation and continuous murajaah.
