METODE PENDIDIKAN AKHLAK DALAM PRESPEKTIF IMAM AL-GHAZALI

Abstract

Al-Ghazali is a Muslim scholar who lived between 450 H - 505 H (1058 AD - 1111 AD) has carved out a great history of education, especially in Islamic education. In one of his greatest works "Ihya 'Ulum Ad-Din he has made a tremendous contribution in the world of education. For this reason, the researcher raised the title of Preschool Moral Education Method Imam Al-Ghazali to describe Al-Ghazali's perspective moral education method by taking fukos research: 1) What are the types of methods of Imam Al-Ghazali's moral education method? 2) What factors influence Imam Al-Ghazali's moral education method? In this study using the type of literature and part of a qualitative approach. The data sources used for this study are taken from various literatures which are then included in the primary and secondary sources. This study uses documentation techniques to obtain the data needed, and then analyzed using content analysis. The answers to the results of several problem statements from this study are as follows: 1) in broad outline, the method of moral education according to Al-Ghazali there are two, namely the method of mujaahadah - piety and mujahadah - riyadhah. While in detail to implement the method, it can be done with simulation methods, suggestion methods, training methods, habituation methods, methods of advice and prohibitions and praise methods. 2) and several factors that influence the choice of moral education methods include: objective factors of the material being taught, individual background factors of students, and factors in the situation and conditions of education that occur, both from individual and external factors (students and / or teacher).
