Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, education faces significant challenges in creating effective and quality learning processes. This research addresses the traditional teaching methods still prevalent at Al-Ma'arif 01 Singosari Islamic Junior High School, which often fail to engage students. The purpose of this study is to analyse the process of developing Mentimeter-based interactive learning media for the subject of Fiqh in students' acceptance of this media. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach with a quantitative descriptive method, this study followed the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). A total of 32 eighth-grade students participated in testing the designed media. The validation results showed high feasibility, with scores of 96% from content experts and 92% from media and learning experts. Acceptance data, collected through a questionnaire based on the Technology Acceptance Model, showed that students rated ease of use at 82%, interest in learning at 86%, and overall usefulness at 83%, all of which were categorised as excellent. The findings suggest that the Mentimeter-based interactive learning media not only enhances student understanding but also fosters a more engaging and efficient learning environment. These results have implications for the integration of technology in educational practices, highlighting the need for innovative teaching methods to meet the demands of the digital age.
